Climbing

 

Geyikbayiri is a rock climbing area in Turkey, near the city of Antalya. It is the largest sport climbing area in Turkey. 

The rock is limestone, with many features such as slabs, faces, overhangs, tufas, roofs, and crimps. The climbing season is from September to May, when the weather is mild and sunny. Geyikbayiri is a popular destination for climbers from all over the world, who enjoy the scenic and pristine environment, the friendly and hospitable locals, and the affordable and comfortable accommodation options. Geyikbayiri is also a great base for exploring the nearby attractions, such as the ancient city of Terebena,  and the beaches of Antalya. 

The area is also surrounded by beautiful scenery, wildlife, and fresh mountain air.

 The area offers over 1300 sport routes spread across walls facing every direction, making it possible to climb in the shade or sun year-round for all levels of climbers, from 5a to 9a (French grades)
